Door Pin Surrounds

Does Anyone know or can find out the part number for chrome door pin surrounds that would fit a CLK?

Presuming of course they exist

As an aside, I don't think I will do this mod.

While pfaffing around changing the pins, I discovered that the ones in situ are a rubbery material.

This struck me as a "hidden feature"

This being the fact that the pins can't rattle against the door card as they did in both my GTi Golf's....

Loads of peeps on here have funky door pins

Mine are ones for a B Class of all things and rather plain!

I consider my activities as augmenting the MB fitted bling such as the lock covers, door handles and so on.

But I accept your warning as I too wish to avoid retinal damage come a summer during which we receive sunshine
