If any of you are planning a trip in the near future, check out the prices at the link below.

My three week return crossing (car + 2 Adults +2 Children) was £330 on the P&O site and only £83 when booked through www.ferry.co.uk

Great link Spike. I tried for a two week trip in July. The cost was £190 return. I tried one-way and it was £45 out, £45 back. So what's stopping me doing that? Or are the ferry companies wise to this and somehow don't allow it?

Cheers

Andrew

You should be fine booking two one-way tickets. Its booking two day return tickets they say they don't allow and will charge you on the return.

I've done it in the past getting the tunnel out and the ferry back two weeks later.

Be careful not to book two separate day returns ( and only using one part of each journey) if thats what your doing.

In the small print it said that if you are caught doing that, they will bill you extra at an appropriate  level.

If its two singles, then I cant see any problem.
