Mate of mine just bought this. 196k but tons of history, good colour, estate, leccie windows, mirrors & sunroof, great colour and a 6 pot motor.

Tight as a nut.

Can't see the picture ?

Ah sorry - copied a link to the picture which was in an email - I guess I can see it but nobody else can.

Not sure what else I can do. Hmmm.

Anyway, it's one of my favourite colours (dark-ish green metallic) and has had loads of mtce over the years.

And it only cost him £2.3k. A mate of mine recently spent about the same amount on a set of tyres for an X5. Which was on finance.

The world's gone mad :)

Lots done - including 4 x gearbox oil changes - last one 5k miles ago. Plus various recent bearings & bushes. The last owner had even stuck a modern head unit in with bluetooth.

Happy to see a "new" 124 round the corner from me.

I saw in that color in South Ealing the last time I was in London. 5 speed car. Pretty good looking.

I like them in the darker colours - that one (even though I'm not a massive fan of green normally), blue or that grey/brown metallic colour - Anthracite?

The kid that does some side work for me from time to time converted a 1991 300TE to an OM603 turbo with a 722.6 using a stand alone controller. He added a 350SDL turbo (bigger) and tweaked the injection and timing so that it has a bit more power than your average 603 diesel. He floored it once getting on an on ramp with me behind him and it took some effort to catch up even though i was in a Porsche 928.

After which, I began to develop a fondness for the 300TD's.

Can't beat a good 124 which is why I wouldn't change my ones for anything

Wash your mouth out. Dirty boy....

Well there's a second green I really like. I was admiring a 450SLC in that precise colour only on Sunday.

(reminds me of a similar colour that Alfa used in the 70's).
