Hi all,
Really hoping someone can help me, the fuel cap cover on my 2015 E class coupe will not unlock no matter what I do. (Weirdly, it doesn't look like it's sitting flush with the bodywork either).
Have tried everything I can think of, re locking / unlocking the car, unlocking while putting pressure on the cover, giving it a bit of encouragement etc.
I watched a YouTube video of the emergency release on an E class saloon which looked like a black ball on a cable that you pull to release after removing the trim panel from inside the boot. I've spent ages trying to find the same thing on mine but it just doesn't seem to be in the same place. The manual hasn't been any help either.
Can anyone help? I can't imagine there's that much difference between this in the saloon vs the coupe but I cannot find this thing anywhere.
