E220 Classic - retrofit CD autochanger?

I have a 2004 E220 with single CD player. The control panel has buttons for an autochanger; is it possible to retrofit this item? If so, will I have to buy it from my dealer (which I suspect may be a tad expensive!)?

It should be quite easy, you could try contacting Braybrooks.

My car wasn't a factory order, the dealer already had my car in stock but it didn't have the CD changer which was a must for me, especially as the early W211's had a cassette, not the single CD. The dealer was able to retro-fit it.

I am getting a new C220 soon with a CD changer, but I am tempted to sell the CD and upgrade to an iPod kit. Where in the country are you?
