E280 CDI (V6) DTC P2009 help!

Hi guys, I'm currently driving in Poland with my UK E280CDI V6 and have the check engine light on and running restricted (low boost).

Luckily I had the ELM327 in the boot so can read the codes - P2009 is stored.

Can someone please help with an explanation for the code?

Hard to find a Merc garage and there's also the language barrier so would like to be armed with some info before opening myself up to a large bill!

Hi, that would make sense - both manifolds and the motor were changed under warranty at 65k miles (flaps gunged up and caused the motor to fail).

Its now at 110k so heading towards the same interval again.....

I think last time it threw the turbo actuator code as the flaps stuck part closed.

This time I have very little low rev boost and then full boost from about 2,100 rpm - like the old days of turbo lag.

I can't see any evidence of oil dripping onto the flap motor so I don't think its the turbo seal issue.

so, do I let a dealship over here take it apart or drive it home with the CEL on?
