E63 Exhaust sound on the road.

Hi All, When I got my C63 I done a video of the exhaust whilst driving, finally got out today with the E63 to do the same. Surprising how very quite it is until its under load.

The Tt m157 engine is a silent Amg power plant ;0), a chap i know sold his sl63 tt because the engine was too quiet.

Fixed that for you Luke.

No complaints with the sound of mine, nice and peaceful which suits this old man.

Unless driven over 1200rpm

I couldn't honestly say the M157 "engine" is quiet, because it isn't. Even without the oil starvation issue on start up it's a touch noisy.

You could argue that the "exhaust" noises are quieter than expected, ideal for many given the type of car, but can become far from quiet with a decat.

I love the sound in standard form & didn't think it was unduly loud until I used my daughters, MINI last week. I couldn't believe how quiet it was compared to the Merc!
