OK so a few of us thought it would be a good idea to organise a Sunday out for all fellow MB enthusiasts but all cars welcome.

Plan is to meet at Tibshelf Services on the M1 Southbound and head for Hassop station cafe in the Peak District taking in some nice scenery on the way. After Breakfast we will proceed to Glossop for a coffee or shopping stop (if you have your other half with you) and then on to the Strines Inn for Lunch and a drink, before departing for home or back to Tibshelf.

You are free to join and leave at any part of the route or depart at any time, you do not have to do the full route, it would be nice to see some of you just for breakfast or just for lunch, just please indicate what you are doing at the side of your name.

Itinerary and Route.

We've booked to stay the night before at the Lantern Pike Inn, Hayfield SK22 2NG

It's on the A624 halfway between Chapel En Le Frith and Glossop, so we should be nicely placed to tag on to the convoy as you pass.

Participants.

1. Flango (Depart for home after Lunch at Strines)
2. BigUn (Depart for home after lunch at Strines)
3. Corned (Depart for home after Lunch at Strines)
4. Meldrew2 & Ms Meldrew2 (Depart for home after Lunch at Strines)

I'm just a bit concerned about the anti-BMW comments (lol) on the Yadgar thread - do we have to come in MsMeldrew's W163 or will you tolerate us if we turn up in my BMW? :D

In the past we have had everything from High end AMG down to a £200 190

When we have more of a list will ask people to post what they are attending in

Hi All

I'm in Manchester - so the East Midlands part of this is a bit of a trek for me and the ol' W124 - but I'll come along for the Strines Inn bit of the fun.

Also emailed my friend ParaquatPam - hopefully I can get PP to give her garage-queen '89 420SL an outing along the Snake Pass.

Cheers

Chris

Looks like being 9 for lunch (or 10 if CC brings PP)

Can Strines put tables end-to-end to keep us all together? I'm assuming that you're booking for us all.

Thanks for planning route and organising it all.

Think we might be nearer to 14 for lunch as a few more bringing their other half.

Spoke to Strines they can hopefully do us a quiet corner of the restaurant all together.

No probs organising, promised I'd do one :D
