Staying at a place in Scotland and the washing machine has EcoBalls which sound like a great idea - environmentally friendly AND economical. What's not to like!

Anybody used them?

We had eco balls for washer and dryer I brought them back from a Scottish trip thinking they were a good idea  Get the washer and dryer going at the same time and the noise is unbearable and they don't particularly work well either. So at the risk of divorce we went back to the good old chemicals that are washing tablets and fabric conditioner :D

This thread seems like a load of old…..

…. eco :fail

.

Wife bought some a while ago thinking it was a money saving idea as they claimed you could use for something like a Zillion Washes, absolutely rubbish, didn't clean the clothes properly, so back to traditional wash powder and cleaner clothes again.
Funny topic to put on a Mercedes Forum though :dk:

BAZZER1

We bought some a few years back for the drier.
They now reside in the back of a cupboard:dk:
No doubt they are saving energy in that cupboard:wallbash:
