Hi All,

I own a 2013 Mercedes C220, Sport Plus package.

The car Currently sits on 18's 7.5J Front and 8.5J on the Rear.
With the Stiffened Sports Suspension.

(Will be for Sale Soon - Mint/unmarked with Michelin PS3 New Tyres)

Any day soon, I should be taking hold of the Same Wheels but in 19's Off the E Class Coupe. 8.5J all around.

I want to get the Stance right on the car, as the Rear has one finger gap between the wheel and arch, and the Front is so much Higher with say 2 and a bit Fingers gap.

I am Toying with the Idea of Eibach Springs and Changing the rear pads from 13mm Stock to 8mm for a further drop to the rear.
Should sit just on the Wheels

Or H&R Super Sports Which has quite an aggressive drop.
But don't want it scrapping Speed humps.

Thing is the car is my daily and has to get up a multi story car park to the top where no car dingers park.

Has anyone done this? got before or after pictures?

Any help would be appreciated, wanna get it right first time.

Thanks

Hi Ronan1982

Any update on the works intended, i too am currently looking to do the same, using Eibach Pro Springs. Albeit i will only drop 15mm as i too have the same suspension as yours.
Setup looking for
19" F 8.5j R 9.5j will this size Rub the arches fully loaded? or would it be best to stick with 18" F 7.5J R 8.5j ?

Thanks

H&R springs all the way! Fully recommended. I had it on my w204 C180K 2008. 15mm drop with mercedes sport suspension. Less body roll, improved handling and no extra wear on suspension. No scraping on speed bumps with 18" alloys. Get in touch with Olly of Prestige Car Service PCS Horndean. They are official distributor!

Hey Sirius9

Super, thanks for the info exactly what i was looking for
many thanks! I will be sticking with 18" me thinks

Hi Cobra!

Sorry about the wait, I did not think no one was going to reply to this post!

I ended up getting H&R Deep Coilovers to get the stance just perfect.
Its sitting on 20" concave Vossen Wheels.

I Did originally want 19s but in order to get the car to sit on the tyres/rims 19s would have made the car to low for humps bumps etc.
So I went with 20"s that don't look out of place at all.. if anything they look perfect.

Did you take the plunge?
I think because you already have the stiffened sports suspension Eibach is not going make much difference.
I would go for the H&R Supers..

Cheers

20's ... you brave lad!! You must have a strong back then...

Plus you must know where the potholes are exactly around london roads....

:D That was my concern when the guys at still static recommended 20s.

But to be fair, its not much worse that the stiffened sports suspension the car came with. The H&Rs Coils are quite good.. better than expected.
