Only when travelling in Europe - its the law in some countries to have one. (Although I'm not sure if the law states it must be full ! )

why do you need one ?

Fair doos your fuel guage could go up the swanie , but you must zero your miles when you fill the tank and that will be an indication ....

TBH, I don't need one and I have an on-board computer to help. I was just curious as to whether other forum members had one or not.
