Hi,

As per title on my S320 cdi checked all fuses and replaced the brake light switch.

Fault codes

C1022 Can Communication with ECM or CDI disruption
C1024 Can Communication with EIS Module
C1204 BAS Diaphram travel sensor open-circuit cable short circuit
C1200 Stop lamp Switch

Reseated cable connection to ESP unit.

Any Ideas

Might be a stupid question, but I have just had a similar problem with a customers S320CDI. The problem was that he had 16 inch wheels on the back and 18 inch wheels on the front  (winter tyres). His dash showed the same messages as I would expect you have. Are your wheels the same diameter (the stupid question). If they are, then there is a sensor on the side of the brake booster. I would check that out. Find yourself a friendly Indie and ask him to plug your car in.

All wheels tyres same, looking at the fault codes sounds like the esp module unable to communicate with other car ecus e.g cdi eis ecm.

I'll speak to merc indie who has winstar.

Star says BAS travel sensor error, further to actuation testing no response from sensor.

Checked the fuses possible wiring or faulty sensor, before i purchase sensor i will see if i can use one out of a w210...
