Exhaust temp sensor fault

Hi there I have a new temp sensor fitted around a year ago but fault keeps 're occurring. . I was told to get it on a star diagnostics . How much will this cost and also how will this be better than the usual diagnostics . Just like to say the car runs well even when lights on . It's just annoying

Star machines go into faults in more depth, you may need a software update for this fault.

Thanks . Is this an expensive fix. Just spent £500 on tyres that's all I ask for haha

If you can find a Mercedes indy with Star it will save you money on diagnosis.
Worth travelling a few miles for a good one, especially when it comes to servicing.
