A really important heads-up to anyone who uses an iPhone 4.

There is a totally FOC application that you should enable that allows you to track your phone should you ever lose it.

From any PC or internet connection, you can remotely lock your phone, wipe any data, and even send messages or sounds to help locate it.

Make sure you register your phone at me.com, it costs nothing and should you lose your phone you will be able to locate or secure it from any PC.

Do it now as it costs nothing and could save you a lot of bother if the worst should happen.

I also used this service as a MobileMe customer with the original iPhone 3G too. Apple are announcing their new cloud service tomorrow (6th June), this may or may not have further advances in managing the phone remotely too. Also, I'm amazed how many people don't have the lock code on their phones either. Not 100% impossible to succumb, but it buys time!
