I have just looked at the pictures of Fatherpierre's car.

Very nice and could you please give us some more details

Regards
John

Looks very nice. Good purchase :)

Yea does look mint and a very nice colour too. If I may make a suggestion get yourself a set of Philips Silver Vision indicator bulbs for those front clear corners o get rid of that fried egg look.

i always liked how the wheel covers match the bodywork colour

i bet it even smells like an old merc

cheers for the links

Looks great.

That will go forever, so little to go wrong.

In the days when a radio Casette was a pricey option.

Enjoy

Nice looking car, the idle oil pressure looks a little low though.

I always think of Frank Butcher when I see one of those.....in the nicest possible way of course.;)

nice :)

Watch that cam chain - that one probably has a simplex one so it's worth changing unless you know when it was last done

Nice looking car, don't see that many on the roads these days

Oil pressure looks a little low, probably just wants an oil and filter change :)

They do drop slightly at idle, especially on oldeer/higher mileage engines and when hot. Doesn't the MB handbook specify something silly like a minimum of 0.3 bar?!?

Will

my old M115 engine used to run quite low, it went on for years like that with no issues.. but a later engine such as this should at least hover around the 1 mark at idle...

maybe just needs a god service.
