finally got some 17inch monos :)

well after always having 18inch amgs all round i was never 100% happy with the fact the fronts rubbed so slightly sometimes and stuck out slightly which i didnt like. these were all ET31 8 inch, soooooo after much deliberation today i went and picked up a set i bought for £400. ( original C43 staggered 17s.. 7.5inch on the front and 8.5 inch on the rear ) i was quite pleased as when i picked them up i could tell they have had at sometime a good refurb done on them and all the tyres are almost new
was worried the 17inch ones would not look as good as the 18s i had but im very happy and now the car feels better and looks better
now i just gotta sell my set of 5 x 18inch monos with new tyres to pay for these

at least 17 inch tyres are cheaper than the 18 inch option with the overall diameter and width of monos., the w210 cost me heaps with the 265 rears

Great wheels and looks good. My favourite MB wheels I think and I'd like a set on my S210....

yes i should have bought some ages ago but i was so set on the 18 inch ones...

the lips are not polished like my 18s but hey i think the car looks just as good and the fronts now dont rub when i check her into a corner

am sure i will find a buyer for my set of 5 18inch amg monoblocks as ive only just put new tyres on about 500miles ago and will probably sell my set of 4 genuine w202 arch extenders with em also
