After a lot more flip-flopping than normal, I bought this on Friday:

Early impressions are;
Good:
Surprisingly quick for its bulk
Gearbox is keen
Split tailgate
Seats are comfy, did four hours on Friday and I was impressed
Good use of space; front-back-boot are evenly spaced

Bad:
Heated seats should come with a warning they're that hot
Ride is harsh almost to the point of being crashy
Steering is very heavy
Auto wipers are the worse I've ever known; a light drizzle sends them into warp speed
Dash layout too busy

About a month before the replacement turns up?

Mt best friend has one. His complaints echo yours Lee.

They'll certainly move out of the way with that in the rear view mirror :thumb:

Crikey Looked at the picture and thought it was April 1st :D

Nice shade of red.

Only joking, health to enjoy it !!!!

Not the worst. They drive nicer than MLs apart from the concrete ride.

Cayenne next.

At least you have redeemed yourself by stating its for the Mrs! ;)

You got a new car then, Lee? :) :) :)

It's alright.

I like BMW but not a huge fan of the Xs.

X5 is the best of the bunch.

The profile of those tyres probably explains the ride!

I was expecting a picture of a MQP. :D

That must be a bannable (is that correct?) offence? :D

Or maybe even bananable offence :bannana: :eek:

I was looking at facelift Cayennes (really really liked the interior) before this but didn't fancy laying out 25 bags on one, for that money I'd be in a facelift Supercharged RR Sport.

You're a RR guy. I would go Cayenne. I just don't get the whole RR thing. Friends have them and are just bowled over.
I should get one for a weekend and see what the fuss is all about. But TBH in terms of sheer luxury and presence , neither MB or anyone else has anything to rival the latest full fat RR. This particular car has a sector on its own.
