C200k SC
Hello,

Now ...How not to say something stupid?
But new to Mercedes so be nice :)
I am finding it all different and confusing.
Like is it 2 or 1.8 K saw both answers just dont get it

I have a Mercedes c200 kompressor 2002 'sports coupe'.
How do i ever find parts, no where seems to list the 'sports coupe' or c class coupe appears to be something different .
Do w203 c-class c220-k parts fit? Like 4/5 door model brakes/disks/suspension
and engine ??

Thanks in advance
Dee

Also dont get it ? is it £295 or £500

According to your figures you have the M111 Kompressor engine at 1998 cc. [ hence the higher taxation band] Later cars have the M271 Kompressor engine at 1,796 cc.[ better emissions= lower taxation class] Unfortunately this was the time Mercedes abandoned the idea that the model number should reflect the actual cc's of the engine and instead reflect its power rating instead . Its confusing because there are two versions of the C200 kompressor model with different engines depending on age. Your car ---the CL203 is the hatchback version of the W203 Saloon

Many of the mechanical saloon parts are the same as the sports coupe. Basically its the same car up to the B door pillar.

As grober said, your car's designation is CL203.

It will share many components with the W203 (the 4 door variant), but when looking for parts it is best if you ensure that they are made for 2002 CL203.

If your car was first registered before 23 March 2006, then it will be in band K, £295 pa.

As is my 2002 E46 with 229 CO2.

Ok so it is the c200k that is a 2L (2002)
But coming for the Japanese Tuning world
Is the tuning after market parts ?
Swap calapers for bigger ones, air intake (for sound) back box?
