It's takes a few goes of the handle to release? What does this mean? Does something need replacing? Thanks in advance

Oct 10, 2011 #2 OP OP A A210AMG MB Enthusiast Joined Mar 15, 2007 Messages 8,475 Location England Just to add.. If the foot brake is engaged and I then pull the release, it can take a few 'pulls' before the light on the dashboard 'brake on' goes off and the brake is released. Thanks
