Fuel Economy Guage!!

Hi, My Fuel Economy Guage on my W126 420SE has stopped functioning, does anybody know the problem/solution??

Most likely the vacuum pipe has come off the back - have you been in at the instrument panel and might have disturbed it ?

Otherwise a vacuum pipe will have come off in the engine bay ( listen for hissing when engine is idling ) .
