Greeting from Airdrie, just outside Glasgow, North of London and South West of Helsinki.
Just bought my first MB, 2003 C class 220CDi. Initially a lovely car despite a little bit of rust on the edges which I plan to deal with once the warmer weather sets in, has developed a few issues >ahem<. The first being the rear boot would not open by any manner - the cable clip had had a parting of ways. It required all my ingenuity, patience and contortionist skills to get in via the rear seat despite it being partially secured from inside the boot. Photographs and story may become available to the interested, but not if you have something better to do like watch paint substrates evaporate to leave a denser top layer.
