Excuse the irritating question - but I'm thinking of buying a current shape C-Class estate as my girlfiends 190 has finally bitten the dust (too much welding and general expensiveness required - we'd save it if we could as we love it - but it's goodnight Vienna sadly)
I really want a trouble free, hassle free car with a comfy ride. So I'm thinking a four-cylinder petrol in an unfashionable colour and basic trim...
Any owners have any strong opinions on cars/specs/engines to avoid?
