GLE W166 tow bar and electric.

On the lookout for a towbar for my 2015 GLE please.

Have you ruled out buying a new one?

Is it just the removable towball you're after or the full fitting kit?

If buying used, remember the W166 GLE is a W166 ML so the towbar and fitting kit is the same, which should open up a few more options secondhand.

Thanks for the advice and I'm after the whole kit including wiring.

I did call Mercedes and was quoted £1400+. Local place wants £600 which I think is rather steep.

Guess I have to keep an eye open on eGay!

If you buy from the main dealer it will be a awestfalia kit. Expect to pay half that for a Westfalia kit, i.e. £6-800, fitted by a tow bar specialist. Whereabouts are you?
