Glowplug Light Stays On For A While

I have a 2009 CLC200. I have no problems starting however the glow plug stays on for about 30 seconds whilst driving then goes out. Whats does this mean, faulty glow plug(s)? Thanks.

Does the light need to be on when put on the diagnostic machine?

Well if it is just a glow plug then a diagnostic scanner other than Star will tell you which one it is,some owners will change the lot others will just change the faulty one,I suppose it depends on how long you will keep the car.

Change the lot unless there is a distinct possibility they are stuck hard.



Peace of mind in long term or a selling point if looking to move on.
