mercedes c220 estate
Just got a c220 estate for work on an 04 plate has been pre-wired (or so the handbook says) for a hands freephone but all that comes up is that no phone is connected... What is the better option for an in car phone to link up to my iPhone 5s

The Convince Telephony option is fitted under the front centre arm rest.

If you have a big void instead, then you do not have the Convenience Telephony option, and no phone prewiring - in spite of the phone button on the steering wheel.

Your opting are:

Retrofit the original MB Convenience Telephony option - doable but expensive.

2. Retrofit COMAND NTG2.5 - this has built in Bluetooth Hands free support. Expensive but adds very good SatNav.

1. Opt for aftermarket Bluetooth kit e.g Parrot - talk to Alfie at www.comandonline.com.
