I have recently sold a car on Ebay, I described it honestly and with a little humour.

Some guy sent me an email saying he wasn't going to win the auction but wanted to praise me on my listing.

You don't have to bull**** or be evasive to sell stuff, in fact, most buyers appreciate a bit of honesty.

It's a gamble to take it as far as this guy but who knows?

I agree sometimes an honest quirky twist can work but there is more risk than reward to doing it this way is there not. Talk about how to close down your market and options rather than open them up. Very strange.
