Hi my name is Mark and I’m a relatively new to Mercedes, I bought an E220cdi a couple of years ago, before then I was an Alfa guy and a happy one at that. I am 30 years married with two grown up lads and three grandchildren, recently flooded and living in temporary accommodation for the next two or three months….and boy is it getting tiresome!

Welcome Mark, that's some trouble you're going through :(.

Perhaps a bit of light relief on here will help.

The flooding has not been a lot of fun I can tell you, First Five weeks living out of a hotel room & the last five in a two bed flat, builders start work on the restoration next week now the house is ‘dry’ It’s been hard work pushing the Insurance co’ every inch of the way.
And then this week’s new hell has been the car warning lights galore! EBV, ESP, and ABS not functional also run flat indicator not functional coupled with the interior lights not coming on when entering the car. I took it to a Mercedes specialist who said it was either a pre fuse or wiring or the ABS unit itself. The Abs unit is running all the time unless I disconnect it- which I do. I can find the rear pre fuses but where on earth are the front pre fuses? I have looked under the passenger’s foot well and also the drivers-still can’t find it. Any and all suggestions welcome

Start a new thread Mark, in the electrical section - it may get missed in this section.
