Last time I bought tyres was 2004

World has changed a lot since then (and somehow I think to the worse)..

Please help with information - who builds best summer tyres these days?

Forum discussions/reviews etc.

I have just put a couple of Maxxis tyres on my car, apparently an Chinese brand and currently being advertised heavily over here. Too early to say yet, only done a couple of hundred miles with them.

I'd highly recommend Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's or Vorti's.

Excellent in all weather and relatively cheap too imo.

Continental Contisport 3 or 5 MO would be my recommendation

Thank you guys. I bought Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymytrical 2. Will tell if they are any good once i fit and run them at speed

I've just fitted the asymmetric 2's to my car, haven't driven it in real anger since fitting yet though, but seem good so far:thumb:

If you want a summer tyre with good performance, quality and cost, I would always recommend Uniroyal. I've has Rain Experts, Rainsport 2s and have just bought Rainsport 3s for my Z3 - always been pleased with all round performance but wet performance is especially good.
