How do I find car spec?

Looking to buy a CLK and have seen one on E-bay, not sure if what I'm being told by the seller is correct, is there a way to look up the specification/extras that a car came with?

If you have the vin number you can check all of that here:

If you don't have the vin, a cheeky way of finding it is by going to the Mercedes extended warranty page, begin a quote and put the reg in and it will show you the vin!
