Intermittent Radio interference. W211

Some times it's fine, sometimes there is a lot of crackling. It doesn't seem to be related to where I'm driving and it only crackles on the radio and not the cd.

Any ideas?

mine depends where i am . glad ive got a 7 cd system that plays mp3 also.

It does crackle when I have it plugged in but it also does it when it isn't.

I had a cheap USB charger that interfered with my radio even when it wasn't being used. I took it out and the problem went.

Hi,
Have you replaced any bulbs with LEDs? as I found when I replaced my number plate bulbs with LEDs I was getting interference when the lights were switched on.
The heated rear screen also caused interference on the radio until I repaired several of the tracks in the screen.

I haven't replaced any bulbs, and I think the rear screen is ok.
