hello all I have an E240 W210 and my key has packed up
parked the car at 11.30 pm locked it at 09.30 i went out and car unlocked
put key in ignition and herd the steering lock come of,but key would not turn the ignition on.so i thought i would lock and un lock it and try again.
car would not lock or unlock so changed the batteries still no go
I know that the buttons on the key do not have anything to do with the starting of the car and the red light shows that theyare working is it common to pack up that quickly I hope some one can help dont want to throw car away too nice and comfortable for it to go to waste thanks in advance
