JVC KW-XR611 Double din head unit

Hi Folks.

I am considering buy the unit above for my 2003 Mercedes CLK CDI 270 Coupe.

Does anyone know if its any good for the money? Does it work with the stearing controls and dash display etc?

JVC units are good and I have had one previously but also look at the Kenwood dosuble din range too. With a sterring wheel interface the controls will work, IIRC the dash display wont show radio stations, track names etc like it does with the oem unit.

as npuk, Kenwood works nice and some functionality with wheel controls but you will not get the in dash display with any aftermarket headunit
