Hi I'm new here so hope his question is in the right place.
I have just aquired a 2005 cls 500, but only have 1 smart key.The vehicle is equipped with keyless go, are keys available with this function, and if so are they main dealer only or is there an alternative.

As far as I know it's Main Delear only.

Some car locksmiths online say they can copy MB keys though... but I did not try it.

One of the forum sponsors is a Auto Locksmith and highly recommended. Might be worth a call...

As your car is a 05 you can get a new key from certain specialist key people there is one in Birmingham that will supply a key cost around £180,and you will need to take the car there,of course there are others,who offer the same service,it is only when you get to 2007 that mercedes used a new chip which as far as I know has so far not been broken and so those keys are only from MB at a cost of around £250
