Kick Down

Hi some times when I use the kick down it seems to hesitate as if it's not sure what gear to select.

Just wondering if the ECO has anything to do with it

I have tried the kick down a few times without the ECO set and it seemed ok.

Anyone eles noticed this or should I call at the local MBs

yes this sometimes happens as the gearbox learns a particular driving style and then leaves it feeling sluggish at time. simple fix is to reset gear box

follow the instructions on the above link. worked for me and solved my gearbox issues

I think a gear reset will kick off this kick down issue
You can search in YouTube how to reset a gearbox.

Thank you for the link, I'll follow the instructions and see if the cures the hesitation on kick down.

OK so I followed the link and to my surprise it's worked! might be a plasebo effect but I'm sure it's much better than it was, soon find out as I'm off on a 100 mile trip Friday

It also recommends resting every month? Surly not!!
