Bit of advice really . Seems like the coating/lacquer is coming off in patches around he front of my e class & starting to look bit of a mess , no rust just looks like it's peeling

Unfortunately, the only way you'll sort that out is a respray of the affected panels.

It's a problem with all fire opal red cars of that era. I and many others have had a full respray FOC.

Not red , sandy gold/beige not sure what colour you call it really. 166000 miles though can't really see getting full respray FOC
