Hi everyone.
I've just bought a 2012 C250 CDI Sport, and I am due to pick it up on Friday
I've had hot hatches and sports saloons mainly (boy racer types), but hadn't owned a Mercedes in my 28 years of driving. Some of the cars I've owned include; Sri's, VR6, Impreza Series McRae, Celica GT4, Clio Sport 172, Mini Cooper S, Mondeo ST220. I currently drive a Jeep Patriot, which I've owned for nearly 7 years and 75k miles. I have a health problem with my hips, and the Jeep is easy to get in and out of, but before I get to the stage of not being able to drive a family saloon, I've taken the plunge with the C Class. I'm hoping it's a compromise of speed and comfort. My wife says it's an old man's car, but I'm 44, look 54, and feel 64, so I'll happily say I fall into that category.
I've had a look around, and there appears to be lots of good reading to be had. I may even pluck up the courage to ask questions if I have any.
Kind regards
