I am going away tomorrow night for a few days and have a lot of driving to do. Tonight I noticed that a couple of injector seals are leaking (I can feel the air puffing out and there is fresh gunk on the head - luckily they can't have been leaking long 'cos I only checked them a few weeks ago).

I would love to get the seals replaced before I go but the chances of finding someone to do them tomorrow is pretty slim to say the least.

Do you reckon it will do any damage to the engine if I get them replaced when I get .back in a few days (and a few hundred miles)?

Do them as soon as possible as the longer you leave it the more cost (takes longer) you will incur.

The seat where the injector sits in the head will need to be re-cut with a special tool as it WILL leak again.

The injector bolt torque is 7nm and TWO angles of 90. The second 90 is to be done with care.
