Hi there peeps I hope your all having a lovely evening. I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area. I've just join the forum and I've purchased my first ever MB 350 w205 2016 model.

I will be receiving the vehicle on Thursday.

I just have a quick question. My vehicle is fitted with LED high performance headlights but I prefer the Intelligent led headlights. Is it a big job retrofit fitting them in.

Is their anyone on this forum who could code / wire them etc?

Regards
Ash

Congratulations -

Yup, talk to Mercedes Retrofit Specialist - Comand.co.uk - we've done loads of headlight upgrades (mainly across model years) using factory parts and proper data-card updates etc so that it doesn't get confused when the dealership updates firmware in the car etc etc.

The lighting units are full of expensive parts though

Do you have the VIN yet ?

Cheers

Richard

+1 EXPECT EXPENSIVE lights can be costly to upgrade.
I looked into doing my Golf once but was way to much to justify
If I was you I'd read up on them and then do some more reading before you put your hand on your pocket :wallbash:
Trust me pal it's can be a nightmare upgrading headlamps
Back lights and middle light are normally a cinch to do :dk: and quite cheap ish, but the fronts I left alone in the end :fail
Cheers

Yep I know it can be very expensive. I also own a 2013 Bmw M3 F80 which had adaptive xenon headlights. I did change them to the 2016 led adaptive headlights. It did cost me alot for the headlights but they do look amazing way better xenon. I did the wiring and coding myself. Coding wasn't to bad. But the wiring was a headache. As their is two fuse boxes one in the boot and one in engine bay and wire into the fem. I work with mainly bmw's so it wasn't to bad. Had to strip most of the interior. Did the wiring same as factory.

I will definitely read up on the merc headlights before I start buying stuff. I've never done any coding or wiring on mercedes before. I am looking to do a few things to the car as I will be keeping it for a while.

Thank you for the advice Ben appreciate it

Cheers
