License plate lamp holder removal

Hi
I have just bought a 2006 facelift SL and want
To upgrade from bulbs to LEDs. I have the new led lamp holder
But the instructions are in German !
Does anyone know how I can remove the old lamp holders ?

All i can say is remove the fuse for the item before you remove it Some wires are close to boot lids .
