Great weather and a huge turnout of spectators made the 2011 Veteran Car Run one of the best for a few years
Jutta Benz, great-graddaughter of Carl Benz, crossed the Start Line in Hyde Park just before 7 am in a replica of the 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen. As a replica the car isn't eligible for the event but the Motorwagen represented the birth of a new class of transportation
