So having got my Mcar unit fitted today, first impressions are very good.
Whilst the user interface is not intuitive, it does interface well with the factory fitted components. Fitting it was a pain, and I almost regretted greatly not going for the fullly fitted option. It should really come with an extension cable for the fibre optics, in my car there was just enough cable to get to the CD Changer, certainly not enough to enable relocation of the Mcar to anywhere else.
Fitting instructions were totally inadequate, so unless you're a professional, don't even think about it.
But on the whole, very pleased. It brings a whole new level of functionality to the In Car Entertainment in a ten year old car.
