Buy some trim fix adhesive spray from ebay.
Open bonnet all the way up so its vertical.
Put some sheets over your engine.
Clean away old bonnet mat carefully with a scraper.
Spray lots of adhesive on the bonnet and on the back of the mat. fix it into place with an assistant. You will only have a few seconds before it starts to set!
Then you will have to keep pressing on it to get it to stick evenly. I normally use a couple of large brroms to hold the centre of the pad and then just work my hands around the pad until the glue sets.
