Hi Guys,

i'm interested in a kit that member Horgantrevor is selling in the classifieds section:

i would like to fit this to my coupe, in the name of 'originality'

would this be applicable to a 124?

apparently the documentation said it can be fitted to a w202 , w210 , w140 s class and cL class ,sL 129 , slk 170.

i'm pretty sure it can be fitted to a 124?

advice apprciated.

The w124 is really one generation behind the w202 w210 w140 w129 that the alarm refers to. It probably would fit with some modification to the wiring it comes with but ---and this is the crucial bit---- the wiring/fitting instructions will not cover fitting it to a W124 without that information any w124 install is going to be a bit hit and miss to be honest. Since these installations usually involve an engine immobiliser facility a poor installation could result in some very annoying problems in the future. Best to avoid for a w124 sorry ---- Unless HorganTrevor can check the kit comes with W124 fitting instructions- why don't you PM him and ask?

cheers grober, yea i did PM trev and mentioned its applicable to the above models.

was just wondering if it could be fitted to a 124!
