At that age I don,t think the chassis number would tell you anything. AMG was a separate company at the time.

No they're recaros (classics maybe) and suit the car to a tee. KLP92 built a car similar to this one using recaro seats and then sold the car.

And i thought Recaros like these were an option allbeit a "VERY" rare option, possibly an AMG option rather than a factory one.

What is it he's claiming is AMG about it though? It has some fancy seats and an AMG badge but I can't see anything else

As its in New Zealand probably came from Japan originally so normal amg rules don't apply !

Yes, I know that but I'd expect to see a body kit and/or a tweaked engine or suspension or something but he doen't say and nothing is obvious to me.

I said I think they are from a W126 (because I'd seen afew W126's with them).
