Hi; new C43.

Linked my iPhone via Bluetooth and signed up to MMe

Was able to surf internet when stationary etc.

The phone was replaced and linked replacement phone.

Now, Bluetooth is fine. Able to phone etc. However no www services are working. Always says data connection is temporarily unavailable.

Really annoying. I can’t send destinations to the car via the app,

I’ve disconnected and reconnected to no avail.

iPhone or Android?

On Android, tethering needs to be enabled.
On iPhone, connection sharing needs to enabled.

Go to vehicle, system settings, WiFi then connect to your hotspot.

Found WiFi settings

It has options

Connect via PIN
Connect via PBC
Connect via security key

Odd thing is this seems to be to get the phone to connect to the car WiFi.

I’m trying to do the opposite a.m. I not? Trying to get the car to gather off my phone

The car doesn’t have its own WiFi as far as I’m aware hence why you need to connect your phone as a hotspot.

I have iPhone and connect to my s205 over Bluetooth which then allows the cars (rather shit) internet and (ever shitter) apps to connect via the iPhone personal hotspot.

Only function I use is to get an address I may have sent to the car.

Exactly. Got my car 3w ago. Linked by Bluetooth and all was ok. Phone was replaced. Now linking with Bluetooth but all www services are “offline”

Ok; thanks to all. Updated iPhone software. Working fine. You don’t need to pair Bluetooth and WiFi. Just pair Bluetooth and all works.

Some phone companies do not allow "Tethering" (or hot spot). My C class asks for "Bluetooth tethering" which is allowed, but a bit tricky to find on Android settings.
