Hi there
I own a 2007 w221 320 cdi and have a few faults which have recently been deleted. Cost me £60!
I was thinking of buying a Merc Star das for myself to save on diagnostics.
Which one should I be looking for? And what sort of price should I be paying.

Does anyone know a write up for an engine conversion on w221
Take out the 320 cdi diesel and replace with 250 diesel.
On mainland Europe the the w221 comes with 250cdi from factory

Well a Carsoft is your best bet,it will diagnose most things and the ones it cannot well they will need a indy to sort out anyway,as for swapping the 320 for a 250 well I have never seen it detailed,I have never heard of anybody doing it.

Yes as it is an original product. There will however been no support from MB for this and ensure it is definitely a genuine piece of kit otherwise it is very overpriced
