Mercedes W124 Gear stick plastic frame surround

Hi

Looking for W124 Gear stick plastic frame surround, the Gear surround from my old trim seems to be smaller than the one on my new trim, if no one has this a part number would be appreciated as I might be able to buy one from MB. Picture attached showing what I mean

when i saw the above pic it reminded me of my 5 speed gear selector

in the above pic you can see a clear channel where the selector can go from 1st to D and back again perefecty

on mine it wont go all the way down to 1 as there is a thicjk black hard foam looking block in its way, but if you give it a shove it will go into 1st but then the piece of hard foam blocks off D

any ideas?

Hi REI, i had the same issue when i bought a new piece of wood trim. I got one for a fiver including postage from Rob at Three Pointed Parts:

no, its part of it and moves, almost looks like its meant to block the lower gears off
