Mercedes w210 diesel loss of power

    Hi everyone I'm having problems with my mercedes 2001 3.2 diesel. it keeps losing power after heavy acceleration. I've changed the mass air flow sensor, turbo, cleaned the cat and more yet its still losing power and won't rev over 3000rpm!! please help as this is driving me insane!

    Try changing the fuel filter for a new MB one.

    Have you had it plugged into star?

    Any black smoke or lights on the dash? Was the MAF a genuine mercedes part?

    I have it plugged into mercedes diagnostic I'm assuming this is star? also yes there is black smoke on heavy acceleration and yes the mas is a genuine part bought from mercedes new

    What were the codes? It won't put any lights on the dash.

    Not had the 3000rpm problem, but I found the egr valve blocked and the swirl flap motor linkage off. Still have an intermittent fault but loads better. How many miles has it dome?

    Mine is fixed now. At a cost though! New injectors and it now starts and goes properly, 90mph and it kicks down and pulls hard! Injectors were the source of the fuel pressure fault and that in turn caused the EPC fault. Top job by Swadlincote Diesel.
