Golf TDi 170 commuter daily hack.
Love the first and the patina on the second, interior and exterior, but not so keen on the slamming, wheels and gearstick!

No problem with a small block in a Merc - much better engine!

Love them both.... first one for Christmas please Santa

Nowt wrong with that:cool:

I have closely followed this cars evolution from the standard car I personally saw at a mercedes-190.co.uk meet right up to the magnificent car it now is.

The detail and attention to detail gone in to this car is astounding. If you have ever seen the Wheeler Dealers 190E 2.3-16 episode, you will have seen this car's builder. It was Steve's first 190 that Mike Brewer drove around the aerodrome.

It's interesting how tastes can vary - a lot of that I find over-worked compared to the absolute purity of the 280S conversion, but that engine is one engine I'd love to see and hear.
