I'm sure all E55Ks have LEDs (it's only the brake light that is LED anyway).

On the lower order, it think it is on higher trim levels only.

That was my understanding anyway.

Looked inside the hole in the perspex and I see bulbs.
Then again, the brake light bulb/LED is at the top.

Its on the way now so it goes back if its the wrong one.

Above NON upper LED lamp.

Yes guys. I have messed up with my ordering a non LED.
I sussed it just now comparing the photo I took and posted in the OP above and the one I ordered.

So, after wasting a few days by ordering the wrong lens, the new one arrived today from Lithuania.
Glad I ordered this unit now. Half the price of ECP and it looks identical to OEM.

You need to transfer the bulb holder pack from the old unit into the new lens

The old one is removed pretty easily after removing lots of trim

Anyone know what this cylinder with a clear plastic tube attached to the top is for? I'm curious.
It has to be moved to get at the last of the 5 8mm nuts holding the old lens in place.

Finally, the new one in place after a leisurely hour of drinking tea , removing and refitting the new part.

Roger, thought this be affixed similarly to the 209. On my 209 it's just a 10 sec job to remove and fit, 3 8mm bolts and it slides off.. no trim needs to be removed
